Lord I pray for patience
To live my life as you see fit

LLord I pray for grace
To run the race; I will not quit

Lord I pray for wisdom
To see the beauty of your plan

Lord I pray for true compassion
That I may help others as best I can

Lord I pray for hope
To get me through the longest night

Lord I pray for faith
That you may cure my failing sight

Lord I pray for courage
To follow the footsteps of the Lamb

But most of all dear Lord
I pray for healing from thy hand

That one day close beside thee
In thy heaven I might stand.

Amen.
